Sudan's total exports amounted to $ 6.5 billion in 2014

Khartoum (IINA) – Sudan's total exports in 2014 amounted to about $ 6.5 billion, of which $ 2. 263 billion of petroleum products and $ 1.463 billion of gold ore, said an official at the Ministry of Trade.

Director of the Department of Exports at the Ministry of Trade Abdul Aziz Abu Talib told Sudan News Agency (SUNA) that the petroleum product exports accounted for nearly 50 percent of the total export values, while gold exports accounted for approximately 20 percent. The remaining export values are distributed among agricultural products ($ 775 million), livestock ($ 793 million) and manufacturing products ($ 200 million).
