Wednesday 04 Feb 2015 - 13:10 Makkah mean time-15-4-1436 Jeddah, (IINA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned Tuesday in the strongest terms the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to approve construction of 450 new settlement units in the Palestinian occupied territories. The OIC considered that the continuation of the policy of expansion and construction of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories, including East Jerusalem, is a war crime and a flagrant violation of the international law and international legitimacy resolutions. The OIC also called on the international community, particularly the UNSC, to put pressure on Israel, the occupying power, in order to compel it to halt all settlement activities in the Palestinian occupied territories, including Jerusalem.
