ISESCO Director General begins visit to Mali

Tuesday 03 Feb 2015 - 13:35 Makkah mean time-14-4-1436 Mali, (IINA) - Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), started Monday a two-day visit to the Republic of Mali in response to an invitation from Malian president Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta. The Director General is holding meetings with a number of ministers in the Organization’s fields of competence, and visiting major academic and research institutions in Bamako. A number of projects with educational, scientific and cultural focus will be identified which shall be implemented by ISESCO in association with local partners. External Relations and Cooperation Director Dr Ahmed Said Ould Bah is accompanying the Director General. SM/IINA
