Algeria wins fight in preventing religious extremism: Minister

Illizi, Algeria (IINA) – Algerian Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Mohamed Aissa on Saturday said that Algeria has won its fight of preventing religious extremism, Algeria Press Service reported.
Algeria has won its fight of preventing religious extremism, thanks to the national policy aimed at preventing this form of extremism, through the training of all the religious executives at the level of the national institutes of the sector, under the supervision of national specialists, said the minister while inaugurating the national institute of training of the sector’s staff in Illizi, a town in the southeastern part of Algeria. 
The national institutes of training coming under the sector of the Religious Affairs, located in different regions of the country, like in Salah and Tamanrasset, are “ a front of the moderate Islam,” the Islam advocating the appropriate balance and in the service of society, Aissa said.
