Emir of Qatar, Nigeria's president discuss ways to bolster bilateral relations

Doha (IINA) – Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held here on Sunday wide ranging talks with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, who was on a visit to Qatar.
On the Qatari side, the talks were attended by Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani and a number of ministers, while on the Nigerian side, members of the delegation accompanying President Buhari participated. 
Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that the talks dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and means to enhance them, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern, especially the latest developments in the region.
Both leaders witnessed the signing of an agreement between the governments of Qatar and Nigeria on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, as well as an agreement in the field of air transport.
It is worth mentioning that President Buhari arrived in the Qatari capital Doha after concluding a visit to Saudi Arabia Saturday.
