Saudi institute releases Arabic edition of book on Yemen rebuilding

Riyadh, (IINA) - King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies has recently released the Arabic edition of 'Rebuilding Yemen: Political, Economic and Social Challenges', a new book based on papers presented at the annual conference of the Gulf Research Centre, organized at Cambridge University, United Kingdom, from August 24-28 last year, WAM reported.
The first English edition of the book was published in August 2015. In seven chapters, the 254-page book tackles important topics including the political and economic background of the situation in Yemen, the unification of Yemen in 1990, Yemen after the 1994 war, the Houthi rebel group, the gradual fragmentation of the regime of now-ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the outcome of the National Dialogue Conference, and the political and economic challenges facing Yemen.
