Riyadh, (IINA) - King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works ( KSCRHW) has recently dispatched 5,000 food baskets to Yemenis in the Taiz province, Arab News reported.
“The aid provided by the KSCRHW was made possible under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman”, said Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, the center's general supervisor.
He noted that the aid was distributed in the city of Al-Turba through the Islamic Relief Coalition in Taiz and other partnering organizations. Al-Rabeeah, who is also a consultant at the Royal Court, said that the aid was part of the total 130,000 food baskets allotted for Taiz province.
The relief center also donated 100,000 food baskets through the cooperation of various agencies that included the Muslim World League, Food and Agricultural Organization and many civil society organizations. The food baskets went to the Yemenis in Hadhramaut for distribution to various war-torn governorates in the country.
Al-Rabeeah expressed his delight over the food baskets that would ease the suffering of the Yemenis while praising the role of the fruitful collaboration with the Joint Committee in Hadhramaut.
