Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian government on Saturday condemned the terrorist blast in Bahrain that left a police officer dead and wounded seven other people.
Jordan voiced its solidarity with the Gulf Arab Kingdom in countering "this plague", Petra reported.
‏State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said he strongly denounced the bombing in the Karanah village west of the capital, Manama. He reiterated Jordan's firm and unwavering stance in rejecting all acts of violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
"The ugly nature, methods and devilish designs of terrorism required the adoption of a global humanitarian effort to take the responsibility to stand up against this plague that threatens international peace and security", he added.
Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, extended Jordan's condolences to the government and people of Bahrain as well as the victim's family, and wished the injured speedy recovery.
