Algiers (IINA) – Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal will begin a three-day official visit to China on Tuesday. The visit is in response to an invitation from Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang, Algeria Press Service (APS) reported, citing a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
During the visit, Sellal will examine with his Chinese counterpart and senior officials the ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, pursuant to the decisions of the two heads of state to enhance relations between the two countries within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership, the statement said.
The visit follows the seventh session of the Algerian-Chinese Joint Cooperation Commission, held in Algiers.
During the visit, which will be crowned with the signing of several cooperation agreements in various fields, Prime Minister Sellal will be accompanied by a large delegation comprising members of the government and the national economic operators.
