Tripoli (IINA) – Libya's Interim Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thani has praised the decision to start 'Decisive Storm' operations against Houthi rebels to support the legitimacy in Yemen, noting that his country will ask the Arab League for an Arab intervention in Libya to restore legitimacy, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

In a press statement, Al-Thani explained that the decisions adopted by the Arab summit, held in Sharm el-Sheikh, are in favor of the Libyan people. He pointed out that Libya suffers from the same problems plaguing Yemen, citing armed groups that threaten stability in both countries.

He said that the chief of staff of the Libyan army will participate in a meeting designed to form a joint Arab force, noting that his country will be supportive of such a force in accordance to the available possibilities.
