Saudi Arabia: 2 MERS deaths, 2 new infected cases

Sunday 22 Feb 2015 - 12:14 Makkah mean time-3-5-1436 file image Riyadh (IINA) – Saudi Arabia on Saturday announced two deaths from the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), and two new infections from the disease over the last 24 hours. The Ministry of Health said in an update on its website that the two victims were from capital Riyadh and Buraidah, while the two infected cases were from Al Khobar in the eastern region and Riyadh. ''Two cases have recovered completely,'' the ministry added. The latest cases bring the infections to 902, of them 385 lost their lives and 491 recovered. AB/IINA
