MWL chief receives Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh (IINA) – Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki received here on Tuesday Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed Hussein.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between MWL and the official Islamic organizations in Sri Lanka for the benefit of Islam and Muslim Ummah, particularly in the areas of Dawa, education and culture. They also reviewed the latest developments in the international arena.

The Ambassador acknowledged the efforts made by Saudi Arabia towards Muslim communities around the globe, particularly the Muslim minorities in Sri Lanka.

He also praised the great role being played by the MWL in serving Muslims in the fields of education, culture and Dawa.
