Rabat (IINA) – The European Union and Morocco announced on Monday in Brussels the start of discussions to frame two agreements for facilitating the issuance of visas for Moroccans wishing to enter the EU countries, and for future readmission to those countries, Morocco World News reported.

Morocco and the EU have had a ‘Partnership of Mobility’ in place since June 2013, aimed at promoting collaboration between the two sides in managing migration in a comprehensive, balanced, pragmatic and operational way, according to a news release issued by the delegation of EU to Morocco.

The two agreements, one to facilitate mobility and the other to regulate future readmission, come in the context of several cooperation and partnership projects previously signed by Morocco and the EU bloc for achieving mutual benefits for both partners.
