Jeddah, (IINA) - The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MISK) is scheduled to hold an online forum next Monday under the title of "Tweeps", which aims to promote entrepreneurship and help people share their expertise on communication, Arab News reported.
A number of ministers and officials from various Gulf countries are expected to participate, and they include Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Nahyan, foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad bin Mohammad Al-Khalifa, foreign minister of Bahrain.
Other prominent figures who will share their expertise include Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, minister of state for ministers’ council affairs of Kuwait, Adel Al-Jubeir, Saudi foreign minister, and Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Attiyah, minister of state for defense affairs of Qatar.
There would be a discussion on the influence of social media in the way government officials deal with citizens, and its role in understanding what is happening among ordinary people.
There should also be various discussion sessions about ideas proposed by young people. Dealing with extremism and sectarianism on social media platforms will also be discussed.
