Morocco’s net international reserves rise by 28.6%

Rabat, (IINA) - Morocco’s net international reserves amounted to 235.8 billion Moroccan dirham (MAD) until March 25, recording a 28.6 percent increase on an annual basis, Morocco World News reported citing Bank Al-Maghrib.
During the week of March 24-30, the central bank injected MAD 9 billion, Bank Al-Maghrib pointed out in its weekly indicators.
Over the course of this period, the interbank rate fell to 2.25 percent, while the average daily exchanged volume amounted to MAD 2.1 billion against MAD 1.2 billion one week before.
During the same period, dirham depreciated by 0.43 percent against the euro and appreciated by 0.70 percent against the dollar.
