OIC secretary general receives UN secretary general’s special representative to Afghanistan

Wednesday 02 Mar 2016 - 18:10 Makkah mean time-22-5-1437 Jeddah, (IINA) - Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani received Nicholas Haysom, Special Representative of the UN secretary general and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) on Sunday. During the meeting, Madani and Haysom discussed issues of mutual concern under the framework of the OIC-UN cooperation and examined the possibilities of mutual collaboration to support Afghanistan in its journey towards peace and stability.
