Muslims in Windsor, Canada host open house to other communities

Windsor, Canada (IINA) - Tolerance, education, and respect were the watchwords over the weekend when Muslim community in Windsor in Canada held simultaneous open house events.
 “Our purpose is to open our doors to our community and spread the message of love and peace,” said Arfan Ahmad, spokesperson for the Baitul Ehsan Mosque in Windsor, Windsor Star online news reported.
“We deny terrorism in all its forms, and we have been doing that for over 100 years.”
Sunday’s open house included a food drive, information booths, and a display of Qur’ans translated into a wide variety of languages: English, Spanish, Greek, Dutch, Norwegian, Japanese, Korean, Bengali, Hindi, and localized Indian languages such as Assamese, Manipuri, and Malayalam.
