Rabat (IINA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned Sunday's terrorist attacks carried out by an armed group on police and army posts in the town of Ben Guerdane in Tunisia, close to the border with Libya.
The attacks led to clashes with Tunisian forces, killing 36 terrorists and arresting 7 others, as well as the martyrdom of 11 members of the security forces and the injury of a number of civilians.
In a statement received by the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), ISESCO commended “the vigilance of Tunisia's army and security forces, and their selfless bravery in repelling the attack and killing of a large number of terrorists.”
The organization expressed its support of Tunisia in the face of terrorism, which aims to destabilize security and spread chaos in the region."
