Iraqi president to begin Egypt visit on Monday

Cairo (IINA) – Iraqi President Fuad Masum will begin on Monday a three-day visit to Cairo for talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, on the overall joint cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the latest developments in the region, particularly with regard to the fight against terrorism.
An official source reported that Masum's Egypt visit, which is the first of its kind, comes at the invitation of President el-Sisi, to discuss ways to enhance the closer joint cooperation relations in all fields, especially as it comes after the visit by Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Dr Saleem al-Jabouri, and Minister of Defense Khaled al-Obeidi, separately.
