Islamabad (IINA) – Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend the Nuclear Security Summit, scheduled to be held in Washington on March 31- April 1, at the invitation of U.S. President Barack Obama, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported on Monday.
Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry attended this week a preparatory conference in San Francisco, where procedural matters relating to the summit were discussed. Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani also attended the preparatory meeting.
Heads of state and government of 35 to 45 countries will attend the two-day summit.
