Jordan, US Atlantic Council review efforts to solve Syrian crisis

Tuesday 16 Feb 2016 - 17:24 Makkah mean time-7-5-1437 Image from Petra Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian King Abdullah on Monday met at Al Husseiniya Palace  here with a delegation representing the US Atlantic Council led by former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, currently visiting the Kingdom as part of a regional tour, Petra reported. The meeting, which was attended by the royal court chief and the director of the King's office, dealt with regional and international developments, efforts to arrive at a comprehensive political solution to the crisis in Syria as well as the latest developments in Iraq. Members of the delegation voiced appreciation for Jordan's efforts to enhance global peace and security. They also praised vision on addressing various challenges facing the Middle East. SM/IINA
