US drunk driver kills Saudi consulate employee, injures 2 students

Los Angeles, (IINA) - The Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles stated on Thursday that a drunk driver ran over and killed one of its Saudi employees as well as injured two Saudi students, Al-Riyadh Newspaper reported.
According to the consulate statement, the incident, which occurred on Wednesday morning, resulted in the death of Yasser Haif Al-Mutairi. The two injured are Fares Al-Enezi and Abdullah Al-Nimri.
The consulate stressed that it has made the necessary follow-up regarding the circumstances of the incident with the US authorities.
It said that Al-Nimri is expected to be discharged on Thursday. The consulate offered its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, and it wished the injured a speedy recovery.
