Security Council to hold ministerial-level meeting on Palestine today

Tuesday 26 Jan 2016 - 14:07 Makkah mean time-16-4-1437 UN Security Council (Google file image) New York (IINA) – The UN Security Council will hold on Tuesday its quarterly open debate on the Middle East, with a focus on the Palestinian issue. Uruguay's Foreign Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa, whose country holds the Security Council's presidency for the current month, will preside over the ministerial-level meeting. During this first quarterly meeting of the year, the Council will hear a briefing by the General Secretariat on the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian issue. AB/IINA
