Qatar, Russia discuss issuing entry visa for citizens in 24 hours

Qatar's FM meets Russian counterpart (QNA Photo)

Moscow (IINA) – Qatari Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah met here on Monday with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means to develop them in various domains, including avenues of facilitating entry visas for the citizens of Russia and Qatar through applications to the embassies of the two nations within a period not exceeding 24 hours. Competent bodies have been assigned to prepare an agreement to this effect. They also discussed matters of mutual concern.
After the meeting, the two sides signed an agreement on the exemption of citizens of both countries carrying diplomatic passports from entry visa requirements and another agreement on cooperation in cultural fields.
