Russia airstrike targets a school in Syria's Aleppo

Rabat (IINA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned the Russian airstrike on a school in the town of Anjarh in the western countryside of Aleppo, in northern Syria on Monday morning, which led to the death of eight children and a teacher and wounded 20 others.
ISESCO said in a statement on Monday that targeting educational institutions with aerial bombing and killing innocent children is a heinous crime and flagrant violation of the laws, declarations and international conventions of human rights.
ISESCO called on the United Nations and the Security Council to condemn this brutal shelling and intervene to prevent the Russian forces from targeting civilians and residential areas in Syria. It also called on UNESCO and UNICEF to condemn this heinous crime.
