Jazan (IINA) – Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa arrived Tuesday in Saudi Arabia on an inspection visit of the Bahraini forces, which are part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition.
He met with the Royal Artillery task force's officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel stationed in Jazan region, and pilot officers of the Royal Bahraini Air Force stationed at the King Fahd Air Base in Taif.
He listened to a detailed briefing on the progress of operations, after inspecting a number of BDF military vehicles and jet fighters participating in the operations there.
In statement on this occasion, Khalifa bin Ahmed said that Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restore Hope have affirmed the strength of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) joint Arab action and collective efforts aimed at protecting the gains and addressing the challenges in Yemen.
He commended the heroic role played by Saudi Arabia in addressing the challenges faced by Arab nation, stressing that the Kingdom, under the wise leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, has succeeded in the establishment of an internationally supported Arab coalition to curb the ambitions of domination, and restore legitimacy in the Republic of Yemen.
