16 injured in fire at Dubai hotel

Friday 01 Jan 2016 - 13:53 Makkah mean time-21-3-1437 Dubai, (IINA) - The Government of Dubai Media Office announced that 16 people suffered light to medium injuries due to smoke inhalation and trampling following the fire that broke out on Thursday evening at the Address Hotel in Dubai, WAM reported. There were no children among the injured people. According to the Dubai Media Office’s official Twitter account, the fire began at the 20th floor of the 63-storey hotel, near Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest skyscraper. Firefighter squads were able to put out the blaze and the New Year’s celebrations continued as planned.
