Kuwait (IINA) – Kuwait’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ahmad Khaled Al-Jeeran discussed with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister for Oil and Gas Gulomjon Ibrahimov ways to bolster bilateral ties in various economic domains, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
A Kuwait Embassy statement said that the Uzbek deputy premier praised Kuwait’s role in supporting numerous developmental projects in Uzbekistan through the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED). He expressed hope for more cooperation with Kuwait in various spheres.
Ibrahimov said his country possesses many strategic potentials that include minerals, oil and gas, expressing readiness for cooperation with Kuwait in this domain.
He also spoke about the significance of reciprocal visits between both countries’ officials, which would help in boosting the prospects of cooperation in all areas, chiefly the economic ones.
