Damascus, (IINA) - Syrian regime warplanes targeted on Saturday residential area in Duma northeast of Damascus, which caused the death of ten civilians and the injury of several others, Anadolu Agency reported.
Civil Defense teams rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze and started searching for victims stuck under the rubble.
The Syrian regime has been besieging opposition-controlled Duma, preventing main supplies from reaching the city that has recently suffered from electrical shortage because of the constant airstrikes.
At least 250,000 people were killed since the beginning of the Syrian conflict in 2011, with around 7.6 million internally displaced and over four million fled the country seeking refuge in nearby countries.
