Rabat (IINA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned Tuesday's explosion targeting a bus carrying presidential guards in the Tunisian capital, resulting in the deaths of 12 security personnel and wounding 20 others.
In a statement, ISESCO described the bombing as "a heinous crime comes in the context of growing terrorism in the region, nurtured by terrorist groups that have nothing to do with Islam."
The Organization called on the international community to exert more efforts and intensify cooperation to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
ISESCO conveyed its condolences to the families of the martyrs and its sympathy to the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery. It also expressed its full solidarity with the Tunisian Republic.
