Putin briefs King Salman, Erdogan about Al-Assad's visit to Moscow

Moscow, (IINA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin had phone calls on Wednesday with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following Putin’s meeting with the Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad in Moscow on Tuesday, news agencies reported.
According to Saudi Gazette, the Kremlin stated that Putin called King Salman to brief him about his meeting with Al-Assad. The statement said that the discussion on the issue of Syria is still an on-going matter.
Anadolu Agency reported that President Erdogan also called Putin regarding Al-Assad's visit and voiced his concern over a possible migration wave because of attacks aimed at Aleppo and neighboring areas. The Turkish president also drew attention to the links between the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) the People's Protection Units (YPG), who are fighting in Syria, and the PKK terrorist organization.
The two leaders agreed to discuss all these issues in detail when they meet at the G20 Leaders Summit, which will be held on November 15-16 in Turkey's southern province of Antalya.
Meanwhile, Russia announced that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would meet on Friday with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Vienna to discuss the situation in Syria and will be joined by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Kerry and Lavrov had a phone conversation during which they discussed preparations for the meeting.
