Islamic Culture Week kicks off in Rome today

Rome (IINA) – The activities of the Islamic Culture Week, organized by the Rome Grand Mosque, will start on Wednesday at the Islamic Center in the Italian capital Rome, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a press statement, Saudi Ambassador to Italy and Malta Dr Raed bin Khaled Qurmli, who is also the chairman of the Board of Directors of Italy's Islamic Cultural Center, said the Islamic Culture Week initiative, at the Islamic Center in Rome, aims to clarify the concepts and manifestations of the Islamic religion to the Italian institutions and citizens.
He explained that Week of Islamic Culture first began in 2011 as an initiative by the municipality of Rome in collaboration with the Islamic Cultural Center of Italy, under the auspices of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
