Makkah (IINA) – The Tawafa Establishment for the non-Arab African Pilgrims has requested the officials of Pilgrims’ Affairs Offices of African non-Arab countries to fully abide by the regulations and instructions set by the Ministry of Hajj for pilgrims gathering to Jamarat complex.
The establishment stressed the need for the pilgrims to stay in their camps at times that are not specified for the stoning ritual, and to avoid carrying baggage and wheelchairs, as well as taking children and the elderly.
"The stoning is a ritual that entails organizational task, involving all the relevant authorities,” Rami Lobni, chairman of Establishment for the non-Arab African Pilgrims, was quoted by the Saudi Press Agency as saying.
The chairman highlighted the importance of adherence to the specific programs for the pilgrims’ gathering and movement to the Jamrat for stoning.
This came during Lobni’s inspection tour on Friday to the pilgrim camps in Mina, where he held meeting with heads and officials of the Pilgrims’ Affairs Offices of African non-Arab countries and members of the field service groups, as well as those in charge of gathering and movement of pilgrims to the Jamarat complex.
He stressed the keenness of the Tawafa Establishment to offer comfort and safety to the pilgrims and to assist them on order to perform the devil stoning ritual according to the timing set by the Ministry of Hajj.
The chairman noted that the ministry is making great efforts to avoid the negative observations during the Hajj season and to ease the burden on the parties that organize and run the Jamarat complex.
