PM Sheikh Hasina

Dhaka (IINA) – Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said strengthening of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is crucial, so that outsiders get no scope to take advantage, Dhaka Tribune online reported.
She made the remarks during a courtesy call by newly appointed Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Al-Mutairi at her Tejgaon office here on Thursday.
Sheikh Hasina stressed the importance of strengthening the pan-Muslim body to settle the problems of Muslim Ummah through negotiations.
The prime minister congratulated the new envoy and assured him of extending all cooperation in discharging his duties in Bangladesh, saying that the relations between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia are historic.
