Riyadh (IINA) – Saudi Princess Lulua al-Faisal, Vice-President of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of Effat University, said that the economy of Saudi Arabia, since its establishment, has been based on the Sharia and the participation of all citizens in all phases of the development process, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
In a paper at the first session of the Second National Forum for Businesswomen, Princess Lulua stressed that the Saudi women have received prominent attention in the Kingdom's successive development plans.
"Saudi women have also played a key role in the comprehensive development," she said.
She called for increasing cooperation between the councils of Saudi chambers and businesswomen in order to establish a body and a network of Saudi businesswomen to discuss legislations, regulations and procedures, as well as activating their contributions to economic development.
