​Pilgrims’ movement to Mina a big success: Makkah governor

Mina (IINA) - Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, governor of Makkah and advisor of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said that the plan for facilitating the movement of pilgrims from Makkah to Mina was a great success. The security and health conditions of the pilgrims are very good, he said at a press conference in Mina on Tuesday. The pilgrims will head to Arafat after sunrise on Wednesday for their standing at Arafat, which is the climax of the annual pilgrimage.
Prince Khaled, who is also chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, said that the state has deployed more than 300,000 personnel to ensure a hassle-free Hajj for some 1.4 million foreign pilgrims as well as for 200,000 domestic pilgrims. The tent city of Mina received rain, accompanied by winds on Tuesday evening.
