Paris, (IINA) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas warned on Tuesday the Israeli Prime Minister of an uprising (intifada), if Israel continued violating Al-Aqsa Mosque, WAFA reported
During his three-day visit to Paris, Abbas briefed his French counterpart on the latest Israeli escalations in Jerusalem, particularly the attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and worshipers as well as the latest Israeli unilateral temporal division of the mosque between Muslims and Jews, AFP reported
Palestinian President stressed on the risks of what is happening at Palestine, warning the occupation Israeli PM of “an intifada that we don’t want” and an outbreak of chaos, urging to cease such violation.
For his part, Hollande called for peace, calm and respect of principles regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It is noteworthy that Abbas will fly to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly where he will oversee the raising of the Palestinian flag at the UN.
