Washington, (IINA) - Palestine's Permanent Observer to the United Nations Riyadh Mansour has criticized what he called “the failure” of the UN Security Council to take action on the violence occuring at the holy places in Jerusalem, SPA reported.
After the conlusion of the UN meeting to discuss the situation in Jerusalem, Mansour said: "We have expressed our dissatisfaction towards the silence of the Security Council for not taking the responsibility of condemning the Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people in Al-Quds”.
He added: "We will not accept to remain hostages in the hands of a party that takes so much time to determine what can or cannot be accepted in the UN Security Council".
Mansour praised the strong position shown by Arab countries, member states of OIC, the GCC countries and the bloc of Non-Aligned Movement toward the Israeli aggression in Jerusalem, especially storming of Al Aqsa Mosque.
