Kuala Lumpur (IINA) – Malaysia has condemned the Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and the Israeli attempts to impose temporal and spatial partitioning of the Mosque, BERNAMA reported.
Prime Minister Najib Razak voiced the condemnation to Political Bureau Chief of Hamas Khaled Meshaal in a telephone conversation on Monday.
According to a Palestinian Cultural Organization statement, the prime minister also said that Malaysia stands with the Palestinian people in the face of these abuses and violations.
Meshaal said the dangerous situation had developed in Jerusalem because of the actions of the Israeli occupation forces.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation of the Malaysian government and people for their support of the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression.
