France appoints minister of labor of Moroccan origin

Thursday 03 Sep 2015 - 13:33 Makkah mean time-19-11-1436 (Image from Yahoo News) Paris, (IINA) - The French government on Wednesday appointed Ms. Myriam El-Khomri of Moroccan origin as minister of labor. The announcement to appoint the 37 year-old was made after her predecessor François Rebsamen resigned the position to become mayor of Dijon at the instructions of the prime minister. In addition to El-Khomri, the French government has another female minster of Moroccan origin, Najat Belkacem, who holds the portfolios of education, higher education and research. AG/IINA
