WAMY's medical convoy sets out in Nigeria

Ugan, Nigeria (IINA) - The  medical and religious convoy, arranged by the local office of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), sets out from Ugan region in Nigeria. Some 6 doctors, 8 nurses and 4 preachers are part of the convoy.
The aim of the convoy, which will tour for 30 days with having some 1980 beneficiaries, is to introduce Islam and to give free medical treatment to people in the region.
The convoy has also distributed dozens of copies of the Holy Quran, religious books, clothes and requirements for mosques.
