Jeddah, (IINA) - The Administrative Court in Makkah dismissed a petition lodged by the pilgrims' service companies against the e-service pertaining to Domestic Hajj Reservation Program introduced by the Ministry of Hajj.
Dr. Hussein Nasser Al-Sharif, undersecretary at the Ministry of Hajj, said the e-service program is progressing as planned successfully, achieving all of its objectives which were set to rein in the exorbitant rates charged by pilgrims' companies as well as to eliminate fictitious firms and scammers, and that this success is Allah's grace to ease the hardships of pilgrims".
Dr. Al-Sharif said the ministry aims to define the relationship between the service providers and the beneficiary pilgrims so as to maintain the rights of two sides and to introduce a mechanism to supervise Hajj service providers in order to ensure improving the quality of their services".
