Makkah, (IINA) - The Muslim World League (MWL), in a statement denounced the recent heinous massacre perpetrated by the Syrian regime against innocent civilians on a crowded popular market in the village of Duma, in which hundreds of innocent civilians were killed and wounded.
Abdullah Al-Turki, General Secretary of MWL, said, “I am grieved that this Sectarian war still practiced by the regime against the Syrian people”.
The General Secretary urged the international community to intervene and put limits to these brutal crimes and provide the necessary humanitarian aid and protection to the Syrian people.
In the same context, The Muslim World League quoted a verse from the Qur’an “And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help” verse (8:72), to urge the Arab leaders and organizations to support the Syrian people.
