Kuwait, (IINA) - Kuwaiti Rohingya Relief Campaign began its works in Malaysia on Sunday, aiming at providing food aid to 1,500 Rohingya refugee families, Arakan News Agency reported.
Campaign organizers said that 250 food baskets were distributed among Rohingya refugees in Langkawi island, they also added that the campaign scheduled to distribute 1000 more baskets for refugees in coming days.
Jinan Al-Anizy, Campaign Chief, stated that the campaign will also hand 100 bags to children that containing games and items for educational purposes in order to bring happiness and joy to them.
Al-Anizy is the head of the Kuwaiti Commission of Rohingya Rights Society for Human Rights.
