Rabat, (IINA) - The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned the breaking into Al Aqsa Mosque compound by a group of Jewish “settlers” on Tuesday, which caused injuries during confrontations with Palestinian worshipers.
The repeated incursions by extremists into the holy sanctuary of Al Aqsa, with Israeli occupation authorities turning a blind eye, constitute a terrorist act deserving universal condemnation and punishment, ISESCO said in a statement.
The Organization called member states to push the UN Security Council to issue a resolution urging the Israeli occupation authorities to respect places considered sacred by Muslims and Christians in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Also, to take the necessary measures to prevent acts of religious defamation by Jewish fanatics in flagrant disregard for the feelings of Muslims across the world.
