In statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Jubeir said that the situations in Syria, Iraq and Yemen were also discussed, in addition to reviewing the the bilateral relationships between the two countries and ways to promote them in various fields.
Al-Jubeir described the meeting as fruitful and constructive, saying that it reflected the convergence of views on all issues discussed.
Following his meeting with Obama, Al-Jubeir held separate meetings with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, and National Security Advisor Susan Rice, during which issues of mutual interest, previously discussed, were reviewed.
