Hebron (IINA) – A Palestinian youth sustained moderate injury on Sunday evening, after being shot by Israeli soldiers near a military checkpoint east of Hebron, the Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported.
Israeli sources reported that a Palestinian youth was moderately wounded, allegedly attempted to stab a soldier near Hebron.
The sources claimed that the soldiers were quick to fire at an unidentified young man who was carrying a knife and tried to attack a soldier near the Israeli settlement outpost of Givat Ha'avot in Hebron.
Reinforcements were rushed to the scene of the incident, and the injured young man was transferred by a military ambulance to one of the Israeli hospitals, the same sources added.
