IAEA chief Yukiya Amano

Tehran (IINA) – Yukiya Amano, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will visit Iran on Thursday in an effort to advance cooperation between IAEA and Iran over Tehran's nuclear activities, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
An informed source close to Iran's negotiating team said Wednesday that Amano will discuss Iran's previous nuclear activities and Tehran suggestions to resolve the remaining issues.
It is expected that Amano talk with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani during his trip to Tehran.
The UN nuclear agency confirmed in its latest report that Iran has complied with the interim nuclear accord reached between Tehran and six world powers in November 2013 over Tehran’s nuclear energy program.
