Bahrain: Two policemen killed in terrorist bombing

Tuesday 28 Jul 2015 - 15:05 Makkah mean time-12-10-1436 Photo: Bahrain News Agency Manama (IINA) – Bahrain's Interior Ministry said Tuesday that two on-duty policemen were killed and a third seriously injured in a terrorist bombing in Sitra area, south of the capital Manama, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported. "Two on-duty policemen were martyred and a third severely injured when a terror bomb exploded in the Sitra area," the ministry said via its Twitter account. The injured, five of whom sustained slight to medium wounds, were taken to hospital for medical treatment, it added. Bahrain said last Saturday it had foiled an arms and explosives smuggling plot by two Bahrainis by sea. AB/IINA
