Jeddah (IINA) – The Saudi Ministry of Interior said that the ongoing investigations resulted in strong suspicion of involvement of three Saudi brothers in the terrorist bombing of Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait last month, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The security spokesman of the Ministry of Interior stated that the ongoing investigations in cooperation and coordination with the competent security authorities in Kuwait, to track down the parties to the crime of terrorist bombing that targeted Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait, resulted in strong suspicion of linking three Saudi brothers with the parties to the terrorist attack. He added that two of the suspects were born in Kuwait and linked to a fourth brother who joined IS terrorist group in Syria.
One of them was arrested in Kuwait and arrangements to extradite him to the Kingdom are underway, while the second was arrested in Taif, in Makkah region. The third one was apprehended in Al Khafji, on the Saudi-Kuwaiti border, following a shootout with the security men.
